an actual end to end 3 " midpipe. This is including 3" ID flanges.
So I'll keep looking

The main issue with true 3 inch flanges is the fact that no cat back systems would bolt up to the pipe unless they were designed the same way.

We'll have pressure data with the pipe so we'll know whether or not there's any restrictions.

You guys should make an end to end 3" exhaust. That would be sweet...

Flashwing, Ray, any sort of timeframe you guys have in mind now? I know it was up in the air before, but just curious where you're at now. My cat is slowly starting to get clogged I think, and really don't want to have to buy another cat and then get this or something. :/

I don't care about the most exhausts. I'm thinking of those with FI'd applications that want a True 3" midpipe exhaust combo.
Make it option to 3" flanges for the midpipe.
maybe later on do what onefatsurfer suggested. But please don't make the mistake of what Turbosx did and use funky flanges that only work with the Turbosx exhaust.

That would give the 8 community an option that isn't readily availble to average owner/modder.

Eddy-current testing shows all sorts of turbulence and does show a slight pressure drop. I only had the simulation rigged for 32/34 (i don't remember now)lbs a min.
now if I can get it re-done for 3071r 44lbs and the BNR Greddy replacement of 46 lbs.
maybe I would see more of a pressure drop.

(done stirring the pot and speculation) <This is for Ray

Can you summarize the first post with all the new data once you have it?

I'm hacking up my old RP supercat midpipe to quiet it down a bit while you guys play around.

I was riding in Flashwings car last night. And his car is at least 40% quieter than it was before. I barely hear him pull up to the house any more. Where as before I could hear him coming 5 blocks away.
Don't worry this is coming soon. Just a few more minor details to sort out.

I would think more like ,,,

I can't tell you for sure because if I don't make that time frame then I look like a liar.
Patience is all I can say. I would like to see it available by July at the latest. But that's just me.
