Is it going to be a good idea to apply tail-light tint? Or is there a record of this voiding warranties usually.

I have an extended warranty with the dealership and it has saved me untold amounts of money. So to anybody out there with tinted tail lights, has this ever been an issue for you?

Honestly, what made you think tail light tint would void the warranty? I don't think I have heard of any such incident ever happening. The worst thing that could happen is you receive a fix/it ticket from the local police, but that's it.

 

Well when they came in the mail, it mentioned something about that on their instruction sheet. I wasn't sure if that would be actually true, or if they were just covering their asses.

 

i doubt they can void your warranty for that they have to proove the tail light tint caused the trouble you come in for and i dont see them being able to do that!
