I like it... if your a street driver and never see the track honestly I dont think you gain enough wo warent the what almost $900 for clutch flywheel and pulleys. total your maybe looking at 10 15 H.P. if your lucky. you really dont notice it to much. it does pull a little faster through 1st and second, but not enough to make someone go "THAT"S WHAT I WANT!".
now on the other hand, if you are hitting the autocross then every little bit you can get will help and you would be a little more willing to pay the money. It's also nice when someone ask you what you have done to your car, to not say "oh nothing, it's stock".

$1,000 on top of your FI? always get wheels if you dont already have them. performance wise, flywheel clutch and pulleys are your only option. (intake would do you no good if your going FI)
if you dont have any suspenssion work, I would lean in that direction. sway bars and some struts will have you turning even better.
I know it's a genaric answer but it really depends on what you already have, and what you want out of your car.
I have cross drilled and slotted rotors, honestly they really odnt help unless you are road racing, but I LOVE the way they look. every time I see a RX-8 with plain rotors it looks so boring to me now. I would never want to go back now. same with the clear corners.
if your wanting quick cheap H.P. you could always go on the bottle. cheap h.p. there when you want it.

just thought that i would let everyone know that i got my ACT street/strip clutch, ACT prolite flywheel, and Agency Power Pulley installed today!
There is a big difference in clutch engagement vs. stock. it took me a minute but i got it figured out. i wasnt able to get into it very much due to the "break in" period. but from what i did notice is that the 8 does indeed rev faster through gears 1-2. cant really say, yet, how it does in the higher gears.
overall i am happy with the purchase and parts.
FYI - ordered from RX7STORE.COM..... and i had no issues at all with jason. he did a great job getting everything to me in a timely manner, even with the july 4th weekend.
so.. thanks guys for the info! that was exactly what the 8 needed!

Just wanted to see if the Coilovers, Coilovers, Coilovers was still in the works.
I am looking for a set and I can't decide. The other threads are so helpful that I was hoping that this one would be available soon.
Thanks.

wow, this is like one of the most comprehensive pages I have seen in a while....
http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/perf...sion/Coilovers
I didn't even know that some of these companies made coilovers for the 8. Most of the information is provided for each coilover Speed, so just cut and paste away....
