That's simply not true, specially since you cut the springs. Either way, I was referring to how it 'looked' not if it rubbed or not. Lowering a car is fine, but slamming it like that just makes it look awkward when the wheels dissapear into the wells like that. Rubbing or not, it just looks bad now

Otherwise, awesome work !

Well the first springs i cut. SInce it didn't rub or anything, i took it to a spring company and had them make me duplicates, the right way, and now, that's what i have. Custom

...other than, when carelessly done, ruining the vehicle's cornering dynamics... if done the right way, you can optimize it for high or low g-loading, but if done wrong you obliterate the masterwork of this car's suspension.

It's great when you HAVE money like that.

Whee! You get a new car and rip out it's guts. Then you drop it 3 inches and slam a 3 rotor 20b engine in it!

Please let us know what the final tab comes to. If the price is right, maybe I'll bring my car up there for a retrofit.

edit: suck it down

Help! Grammar police!

"Ain't done gone rollin' ridin' swappin' friggin'........"

That's what it sounds like to me... it pains me to scan through some threads. I can FEEL my literacy decay. Sorry for this post containing nothing to do with cars, but please people -- I swear you're hurting each other intellectually.

How difficult was it to cram a 20B inside such a small engine compartment? How about engine mounting points and such? How's the weight distribution now?

The engine compartment is actually bigger than the 93 rx-7. after you remove the ecu and battery. Acostaracing has done alot of wiring to the car to make it work. The weight distribution will be almost the same, cause we are adding weight to the front of the car, but at the same time we are adding weight to the rear of the car, (ex, battery) my ecu is now in the front passenger side like the FD rx-7. I'm very very happy with the project so far, everything is goin so perfect.

How about the tranny and differential? Are you going with the stock units or replacing them along with the renesis?
