A quick yes or no answer please, can you use Canzoomer on a US RX-8 or is it called CANzoomer for a reason?

 

YES , BUT you have to tune it to your car specificly.

Yes - and most of them sold have gone on US cars. But as L&L points out, you DO sometimes (about 20% of the time) have to tune it for it to work well with your car, which means you need more than the basic CZ unit. For those who are willing to take the time, you can get upwards of 25 WHP. See the CanZoomer forum, or do a search on "Canzoomer tuning" for more info. Hope this helps.

 

Do a need one of those little hand held computers? Can you use someone elses or do they all lock in a VIN? My father has one for the Camaro and you can only use it on his VIN. If you wanted to use it on another car you ned to send it back to Predator and pa $75 to unlock it.

I got rear-ended by a lady in a BMW 6 series convertible. She plowed me into another car, so with front and rear-end damage, my car was totalled. I'm OK though.

I do miss the 8 sometimes, especially when I see a black one, or when I read about cool things to mod it like Jason posted. And I'm still hooked on this forum.
