Cleaning your aem intake
Quick question. Does it matter what you use to clean it? I have some k&n filter cleaner and wanted to know if i could use that or would I have to buy something that's specific to aem. Of course I know not to use the oil but will the cleaning spray screw up my filter.

The AEM intake uses a dryflow air filters do not use oil you can only use the Dryflow Air Filter Cleaning

I've also used the bottles listed by Phantom RX, which involves agitating the filter in a bucket of water.
It appears that AEM partnered with K&N for their filter cleaner, so you may not be able to get the "AEM" brand anymore.

I guess I'll put an order in. As of now I'll just rinse it out due to how much dust it has and considering the rain. Dust+water spray= I'm guessing not good. All I was wondering if K&Ns stuff would be basically the same cleaning solution.
