It is no surprise and is a known issue with all M/T RX-8 pedal assemblies they are prone to breaking, things to recognize are the pedal starts to creak, squeak and then pop.

As a preventive measure it is recommended to get the assembly reinforced and with our service we will send out a complete clutch pedal assembly with our reinforcement brackets already pre-installed so you can take the hassle out of doing it yourself without concern.

This Bracket system will improve pedal feel and strengthens the complete assembly to reassure you that your clutch pedal will never snap and break rendering you stranded on the road at anytime. This assembly is so strong and well designed that even broken assemblies can be fixed and back to working order with ease.
