Cold air intake

So, I would definitely love to turbo my 04 rx8 but I dont have the money for that. On the other hand, for better induction, a cold air intake is more reasonable money wise. Which brings me to my question, what is the best brand out there for max hp gain (I know it wont be much btw) Would rigging one up your self be possible?

Just get either an AEM or a Racing Beat w/ Duct. IF you can't or don't want either of those, stick with stock.

Or add the Racing Beat duct to the stock airbox. That's also viable.

AEM really would be the only way to go for a full system, but the RX8 stock intake is pretty good. Another great option is a simple drop in from HKS. We are running a special on HKS this month, take a look!

Promo code: "RX8" for forum price on AEM CAI, if you would like to go that route.

See that tube there?

That the stock intake to the airbox.

There are a few options that are about as good. Most are worse.

My advice is: Don't bother.

ponycar, why are you bumping old and irrelevant threads with irrelevant info?

If you want to get your post count up, do so in a manner that doesn't make you look like a no0b.
