NY custom driveshaft?

what are some of the best companies to do custom driveshaft making? im located in long island NY looking for local or a company i can give measurements too over the phone.

try thoroughconcepts, mazdatrix also has one readily available. After these 2 companies you can try almost any shaft shop as they only require basic measurements and tq ratings.

It can be made roughly 900g lighter. Not much if you consider the MOI\diameter of the shaft and how the weight is distributed.

What if he needs a heavier shaft though?

whoa whoa whoa, are you telling me you are breaking driveshafts with whatever setup you have? Or is this just part of a planned upgrade? I thought the stock could hold up to around 450hp

i herd the same about the stock but i need one regardless with the new set up i have, i need the driveshaft, 2in shorter with the new transmission im putting in. and i want one that will also last the power in the long run.

so why look ad driveshafts when yours will most likely hold up fine? why even look at transmissions?
How can you build a car without a goal? that's recipe for disaster.

i didnt say i didnt have goals... quite the opposite. and i do need a custom driveshaft because i am putting a REW in my 8... not something the stock could bolt up too hah
