Hey all,
Got my CZ Tuning Comp about two months ago and i have been running the Stage two maps that Maurice sent me. Unfortunately, the car has an even more unstable idle than stock and if i idle for more than five minutes, the check engine light flashes and eventually stays on. I already did the procedure to remove the two capacitors from the unit but with no avail. If I turn the unit off, the light will go away after turning the car on and off about two to three times. I have tested the situation to make sure it was in fact the idle and it is. Everytime I have to idle i hold the RPM's at about 1K-1.5K and i have not seen the check engine light since.
If anyone know why this is happenening, let me know! I am getting amazing performance from the CZ unit and i dont want to remove it. Also, I dont want to mess around with the maps too much so i dont know what, if anything, i need to tweek. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a cable...check the lowest RPM column in the timing map and make sure it is all zero's....seems to help the idle? Also check that it is not adjusting the fuel in the first rpm row in the A/F map.....

What is the trouble code that the PCM is showing??

 

i wish i had a computer to check the fault codes. I dont know what the PCM is registering and i am affraid to take it to the dealer. I dont want them to see the CZ unit for Warranty reasons. I am pretty sure the first column is all zeros. I will double check the A/F map but i am sure its fine since I got the map from CZ. Check back soon with an update....
