Different Branch of Flywheel

I am thinking about the get new Flywheel for my RX8.
Since i research in the forume.
Most people choose MazdaSpeed one and Racing Beat one.
MazdaSpeed got most strong material made from, but only few pound ligher than the stock one.
Racing Beat is lighter than the MazdaSpeed one.
Which one is better? Do you guys have any other suggestion??
Does anyone use flywheel besides those two branches?
Can you guys share the experience?

Remember - it's not just 'weight' of the piece - it's 'where the weight IS'

^Indeed. That is why most people choose the MS one. All the weight is in the center, drastically reducing the rotational inertia.

Are these posts implying that the Racing Beat flywheel has more weight along the 'edge' of the flywheel opposed to the Mazdaspeed version? Is there any info about SR's flywheel?

Thanks,
Edgardo

I have the RB flywheel. I would suggest you go with the ACT Pro-lite one...and save your self a hundred dollars.

The nice thing about the RB one is that the friction surface is replaceable. I still think the MS one is to heavy.

just get the ms one. You won't regret it, they (rb) both come around the same weight.
