direct hit ignition

Maybe it’s because http://www.directhits.com does not have a RX-8 application?
The closest things you will find here are people that went to Nology HotWires When the sites gets back to normal you can do a search for “Nology Hotwires” and you will find some interesting reading. But bottom line is these were designed for piston engines, if they can work on ours has yet to be determined. One other thing to consider about the Direct Hits I read on another site that they only work with non-resistor plugs, not sure if the plugs we use are non-resistor. That is important because there are no aftermarket RX-8 spark plugs. They also lengthen the spark plug, is there enough room?

I spoke with Travis at Direct hits today. You are right currently they do not have a kit(nor does nology) BUT Travis is willing to work on this for me. I am sending him the plug numbers etc and he is going to see if it can be worked out. He himself runs a 13A. You know this may end up being very interesting. Think about it, many people having rough idle, plugs going bad after only 20000 miles, the car runs with a rich mixture, and this month in import tuner they dyno'ed a 2.5 hp increase with just some grounding wires( in the rx8). This may be a good thing. I will keep all informed.
