Does a lightweight flywheel void the warranty?
#2
Only if it comes loose and flies out of your car and cuts off someones head off!
Sorry - had to say that. No it will not void your warranty. Go here and read up: http://www.sema.org/main/semaorghome.aspx?ID=8124

It is not that simple, SEMA is interested in supporting it's members and having you buy it's members parts...
Using a light weight flywheel other than an original or approved one by Mazda will void your powertrain warranty... Any failure to the transmission or engine could be associated with the flywheel/counter balance...
I have seen several warranty repairs declined at our dealerships due to after market clutches and flywheels with engine and transmission failures...

YIKES! Then I better buy the MS wheel - thanks
cortc - what about your lightweight pulleys then, will they lead to trouble for me if I install them?
