Does RB Flash=Shorter Cat Life?

i looked around but couldn't find a direct answer. Does the RB Flash cause the cat to burn out quicker? I have the RP supercat and love it but would hate to have it die too soon with the flash. Any info would help thx.

the rb flash does lean out the mix towards the upper rpm range. this technically should raise the temp at the cat but RB purposely tuned it so that it wouldnt get hot enough to cause any seriouse problems.

im not sure if it was RP or some other brand but ive heard of quite a few aftermarket cats burning out on stock motors lately.

it might if the cat is seeing that max temp for longer periods, unlikely on the street. assuming WOT = max cat temp

I have the first or second RP cat on my car, and have leaned out the mix for +20K of miles with no problems at all.
