Doner Car for Free Tune

Doner Car for Free Tune
The guys over at EFIDude asked me to do a quick tutorial about how to uses their DataLogger and Reflasher to tune a car. They want to use the resulting file, dyno sheets and DataLogger data as a packaged example to ship with their reflasher as well to give people a starting map.
Everything I have access to is forced induction; it is fun to drive but not much use when you are supposed to be doing a normally aspirated example. Is there anyone out there that has a NA car and would like a tune file for it? It is also a chance to watch first hand the whole dyno, data log, tune, dyno, data log loop if you have an interest in such things. I am in the West Palm Beach, FL area. Lunch will be on me as well.

The problem with being an engineer (or at least one of them) is that I can not spell. If it gets past the spell checker, I am done for.

I asked about that a week or so back when I got nailed for spam and did not hear back. I asked again today and did get a response. All of it is going to EFIDude who is the one that needs to become a forum vendor as I am certain they would want to do things the right way.

I have been using development versions of the Dude stuff. I had access to fuel, timing, maf scaling, injector scaling, fans, rpm limit, torque limits, oil pump, idle, pedal maps and a bunch more. All I really needed was to bump the idle a bit for the extra supercharger load (at idle) and then get the fuel and timing where the tuner wanted it. I also redid the maf cal so the tuner's maf tube did not cause the PCM to build long term trim. Those maf systems are very sensitive in the low flow ranges which is exactly where you are steady state building long term trim. Even if the tube is exactly the same size as the stock tube, its placement and such seems to affect low flow calibration.
I am sure I had to mess with some other things in the very beginning, but that was over eight months ago and I really do not remember. I would think those types of things would be in a template for the end user anyway.
I can not tell you exactly what will be in the freeware editor as it is not my product ( I know, I spout off a lot about EFIDude but I really am not them. They just let me be part of the development and I had a blast doing it). I suspect the EFIDudes will be publishing information when and as they can.

Probably. I only have about 400 in regular rotation and I've had to remove a few from the collection because I keep getting my hand slapped by the mods.
I have fresh ones, just no motivation to edit them.

Monday it is
Got all the PMs. Thanks. We are on for Monday (the 25th).
It looks like this Monday is going to be dyno day at the OK Coral. We are already up to three cars.
So much for bailing after lunch but I am still not going anywhere near the shower that other guy was talking about.
