Dyno results from HF CATs

I'm looking to see if anybody has dyno numbers on any of the HF CATs on the market I'm looking more for the numbers on the SR HF CAT and the CZ midpipe. I've seen Dynos with these products but other products were also added I'm looking for a before and after with just these products, I've heard the nmbers from the companies but I wa looking to see if anyone had dyno proof. I did a SEARCH (no FLAME) and just found dynos with other products w/ the HF CATs and no before or afters!

Completely removing the cat will get you about 7 hp max over the stock cat. A higher flowing cat will get you somewhere between a 1-6 hp increase. That range is so small that dyno differences could account for that error range. In my opinion, it really isn't worth the time, effort, or money to do a dyno comparison for such a small range of improvement. An easier test would be to do a flowbench test between different dynos to see which ones flow best. This still doesn't translate to alot of power though.

Max total potential assuming you didn't even have a muffler.

So is a HF cat worth the money? How much do they cost anyway?

They are worth it with other mods. Ie tuning which would make your exhaust run hotter. With FAI you will c bigger gains. IMHO a mod that puts u in a position to take advantage of other mods.

I'll let you know (kind've). I will be bringing my car in soon to have the SR lightweight flywheel, SR HF cat (w/resonator) & SR pullies installed. I'm going to ask my mechanic to dyno a before & after even though it is costing me $150/hr I'm interested in what these things really push out.
