a collar/ring that slips over your drive shaft that uses strain gauges to measure the drive shaft horsepower. it then broadcasts the info to a data logger or AEM engine management.

Could not tell if this is used in lieu of the drive wheels or attaches in line....

 

You have to replace the slip yoke between trans output shaft and the driveshaft, plus have the AEM datalogger or ECU. The RX8 yoke was not intended to ever be replaced. I think its possible except for now AEM isn't offering a yoke for and likely may not anytime soon if ever

I played around with this at SEMA. Loos like a great idea.
Now they just need to come up with a universal collar that will mount over the flange at the diff input.
