So yeah it's about time i started doing stuff on my car but i'm still contemplating what order and so forth to do stuff. Blah blah blah my point is who here has a new ECU. If so what are your thoughts on them? If not which ones are good/have a good history? Apexi? Greddy? So yeah, thanks.
P.S. Yeah this is my first post but i did do a search and didn't find was i was looking for so don't hate. Late!

Yeah wups totally found the intense thread in the tech garage. I guess that settles that ima get the e-manage but what is the whole "piggy-back" thing. And also will this be fine if i want an MSD.
Another note is this a "pollution controlled motor vehicle"
Don't worry i'm trying to get rid of all my moron at the get go right now.

Piggyback just means it isn't a full ECU replacement. The harness that now plugs into the ECU will plug into the piggyback, which has a harness that plugs into the ECU.
This is a plug: --[
NOW: Harness--[ECU
AFTER: Harness--[E-MANAGE--[ECU
>>And also will this be fine if i want an MSD.
What?!
>>Another note is this a "pollution controlled motor vehicle"
What do you mean? It meets US Emissions standards, if that is what you mean. It has a catalytic converter... :P
