Hey guys, I've got a 2006 1.3 turbo. I've had a Haltech Platinum Sport and chip for a while and wanted to get more performance. I was recommended to port and polish the intake and exhaust. We found out they used abrasive material to do it like gritty sand. So I got with my friend that tunes Hondas and we decided to try it ourselves. We got a bag of sandblasting sand and hooked up into the intake and started the car. We had to hold the gas so it would run. He wanted to let the engine suck in the sand through the intake so it would port it out and then push it out the exhaust so it would port the exhaust manifold.

for $174 what you get is a blower motor.
2 PSI maybe at atmosphere pressure but a turbo or supercharger gives positive pressure when the engine is sucking air (negative pressure).
if you stick that thing on your intake I think your engine intake pressure will be actually driving that thing instead of it driving the air.

Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should; lucky that 100 shot of nos didn't blow the welds on the intake. Now me and the mad scientist gotta tear apart the block, and replace the piston rings you fried! You had me? You never had me, you never had your car.
Sorry I couldn't resist .

jasonrxeight has it about right....and beyond the obvious, one dead giveaway with this junk is the wire and relay shown on the site... 900 watts = 75A @12V; 60A @15V ... Relays that can handle that current cost ~$25-50 and use heavy duty screw terminals, and weigh a lot (I have a 120A 12V relay that weighs more than a pound all by itself!) .. and they need to connect some serious thick wire. The wire shown looks to be perhaps 14 or perhaps 12 gauge at best, good for ~20A.
Be interesting to know the fuse amperage they supply with it...
But I do wish someone would buy one so there could be at least one example for all to see (I think those that buy these never admit to it lol!)
