Electric Supercharger????

Been look'n around and came upon this,http://www.tempestperformance.com/ , and wanted some insight on if anyone has heard anything about them or know anyone with it. I was thinking about getting it just for the hell of it to see what it really does for the car and gas.

Not recomended! These are just electric blower motors; for marine use I believe. Also made of plastic from the looks, I wouldn't want bits of plastic breaking off and going into my motor.

Arrow Nope....

They don't do anything.

They will push a small amount of air with a minimal pressure, to get any useful boost would require an electric motor in the multi-kilowatt range, pushung at least a couple of p.s.i.

If it worked, people would use it. Its been asked on many forums, for many cars. IT DOESN'T WORK.

It's been discussed many, many times:

And again: This is currently the only electric supercharger that is actually producing some extra power:

if you look at the pictures, they're claiming anywhere from 22-41 hp gains. very skeptical. I wouldn't waste my money.
