Which Exhaust?

I have looked up all the exhaust's that I was considering and am having a hard time decide which I want. So far I am leaning towards the Espelir the most. I want to know what other people think. The exhausts I was considering were the Espelir, Borla, HKS, GReddy, Fujitsturbo, and the JIC.

it's rare, but people with the HKS love it. RB and Borla are also board favorites.

It's really about personal choice.. my suggestion is go search for the sound clips, and go by that.. any marginal performance you'll get will be around the same for most if not all of them

I read in some places that the HKS is not that great. It was at first the one I wanted the most but the comments changed my mind.

You have to ask yourself what type of sound you want and what do you want to get out of from your exhaust.

the ONLY thing bad about the HKS is the price. unless you want a raspy ricer sound...

the fit, finish, sound...all top notch

SR Exhaust

I had the SR exhaust put on - I have the high flow cat with the resonator. The quality is excellent and I have many compliments on the sound. Not ricey at all- but deeper-sounds like a sports car.

Racing Beat rules, talked with folks and listened to some exhausts at Rotory Revolution in Indy. Second choice from what i heard was Borla. It is a bit louder than RB but probably quieter than your other choices. If you want loud drowning freeway sounds go with the HKS or Greddy. I haven't heard the others. If you want refinement get RB.

I have heard and driven the MazdaSpeed, Borla, and RB tunes at different get togethers.......I really liked the RB sound...nice and "here I am" under throttle but stock tones at cruise. I pick mine up in Dec...can't wait!

the greddy may drone, but the HKS certainly does not

I stand by my HKS...... it's pricey, but the sheer sound and manufacturing quality is well worth it.

Everyone that has heard it has commented and fallen in love with its intoxicating note.
That goes for both non-8 owners and 8 owners (even those with other brands).
