Exhaust Advice

Ive had my 8 for 2 years now and definitely want to put on an exhaust system, now I know everyone is going to say use the search function its all there you just need to look, but Ive been researching and searching for months actually. Im having trouble deciding. Ive watched literally hundreds of youtube videos. So Ill describe what Im looking for and hopefully someone can help me out. I DO NOT want that tin can sound that is on every cheap civic out there. I want a nice rumble at low rpms but I want it to climb and get higher as I accelerate. But at the same time I want it to be loud! The racing beat is just too quiet for me. Not stupid loud where it calls all cops in a 5 mile radius but I want it to be definitely noticeable from a distance away from the car. I want to be able to clearly hear it when I have my windows down, even when Im just cruising on the highway. Im from lancaster Pennsylvania and Id love to meet up with anyone with an exhaust if you live around the area. All advice is welcome but please dont just post what you have and tell me you love it. Tell me why! I go on every other exhaust forum and all I see is I have this and love it! Please tell me why, tell me about the noise, how loud it is, what it sounds like inside the car, etc. Thank you for any help!

The only problem I have with that is a resonated midpipe will not pass inspection so I'm not really interested in putting one on. I'm looking for just a catback system

just swap your cat in before inspection, i live in pa also. anyway im still pretty sure the turbo xs is on backorder and the mid pipe is straight through. the ap set up comes with a resonated mid pipe and it sounds awesome. if you dont want to replace the cat just sell the mid pipe

Go HKS Hi-Power. Probably the loudest cat back. Basically exactly what you've described. It has a nice low gurgle to it at idle, but really opens up and screams at WOT and high rpm. It doesn't sound hollow and isn't so low that it's booming and doesn't drone. No raspiness at all either. I've had nothing but compliments on it and no problems with the cops. It is single sided which leaves an empty hole on the passenger side. Some people don't like the look, but the sound and weight savings would be worth it if it bothered me. I personally like the single sided look and the opening doesn't bother me.

i've got the agency power one. had the midpipe on for a while and it was way loud. especially inside. switched the midpipe out and put the stock cat back in and it sounds great. same low tone with the midpipe in but cut the volume back enough so that its not obnoxious.

You really hear a Mazdaspeed exhaust when you floor it with windows open, I can vouch for that. And I'm sure you do with Racing Beat too. I wouldn't get any louder catback, as the noisier idle and/or the drone at highway speeds can be horrible with many exhausts.

You want to be a winner or a loser? Winners will get the RB headers, RB DRes Mid, and Catback... Genius if you ask me.... and if you were ever looking to sell..... it'd sell the same day I guarantee it.
