I was wondering what everybody/anybody here thought of the racing beat intake&exhaust compared to other brands out there

solid products. intake is a true cold air intake but because it is a two piece deal it costs a little. intake also looks relatively stock under the hood too. the exhaust is one of the quieter ones around. its not lighter than stock. has a good sound when you get on it and it takes some time for it to mellow in.

Yes, complete with 2, count 'em, 2, flow delaminating right (okay 75+ degrees, close enough) angles. I love their suspension products, but this is not the best bit of design I've seen from them.

dynoes have shown that it gives about the same hp as the AEM/MS unit. The intake is quieter than some of the other ones. Great product. Typical RB unit. Quality piece. I had the exhaust & loved it. Sounds stock in the low to mid range, and nice at the peak. Wish I had it again.

i just got my RB Revi and ram air duct in this week. im going to instale it tomorrow morning. i cant wait to try it out. i really like the design of it. looks almost stock and very clean in the engine bay.

btw. i really like what RB did with the instructions for the revi and ram air duct. very clear instructions with actual pics of everything you need to do to your car. really takes all the guess work out of doing it.

just instaled mine this morning. very easy instale. only took me a couple of hours, probably would of taken less time but i had friends with me, and yea, we b.s.ed alot! lol.

as far as the unit itself? i must say its worth every penny. i love the sound. its not as loud as some of the other intakes, but to me its just right. its very quiet at low rpms and idle but really opens nicely when you get on it.

i also love how clean it looks in the engine bay. almost gives off a stock look, but just different enough to make people look.

It's a quality piece and it makes the car sound meaner. But to be honest with you, I couldn't feel any performance gains.

I have a CAI and midpipe on my car. Which, according to dynos and whatever should be at least 10-15 more horsepower. Its mainly noise and flames. I think its worth it, but dont expect a lot of power gains. You WILL THINK its more powerful, but its not. I thought I had huge gains until I went to the drag strip and was still running 15's :/

there's no way in hell you will get 10-15 whp with just those two..stop dreaming guys... LOL...

the RB exhaust is very quiet...very close to stock..if you want something a little more aggresive this would be the wrong choice...the RB intake is a good piece though...

u want exhaust hp gains. get the agency power kit. it has a cat delete pipe. and cat back system. u feel it. it adds about 11hp on the dyno. and u blow flames obviously. and u will have the loudest 8 on the road.
i got it, i love it, cuz i am obnocious as all hell
