Clearly you've learned nothing about why the forum has implemented the 30 day rule and Post count.

Another exhaust thread ... such fail
Just when I thought the new members forum was a great success

Good luck finding anyone that can show clear HP gains

Well thanks for being rude.... Completely uncalled for and learned nothing from "your expirence." If you were nice person maybe you could of redirected me to the right forum thread instead of being ignorant. Well thanks for the ignorance enjoy your day...

Thought if you weren't being rude or ignorant and just was a face palm moment I'm sorry for my rudeness but the way you choose your words kind of showed otherwise.

Dat,

see my signature.

WCS, his join date is before the new member forum was implemented, and passed the restriction as of the time it was.

Um, I think you are misunderstanding things?

I posted my signature since you stated you didn't see it.

Refer to my original post in this thread where I pointed you to my signature.

You asked for power mod information, and the newbie's guide to modding answers that question with plenty of information. I could re-type it here, but it's a lot of work when i could just point you to where i already retyped it.

I'm not sure where you thing you would be downgraded though? If anything a new thread "in the open" like this is far more likely to generate a negative response. The threads I linked are all "safe" threads from a flaming perspective.

Ive read guide about 2 times now. It states there is clear power to come from there but hard to prove with no dyno. And goes on with something else. But does not say which manufacturer is better or good.

and downgraded in the sense that I don't feel my question is "dumb." And people indirectly making fun of the thread. "How many cylinders does an rx8 have". "8, that's what the rx8 means." People shouldn't be directed to that unless they are drunk or not in a right state of mind.

You want an easy answer.

The guide should have given you the information that there is no easy answer.

Header gains are consistently unproven.

Midpipe gains are the same across the board for all midpipes for the same reason (they remove the cat).

If you want to get more detailed than that, you will literally have to start buying up several and dyno testing them.

Actually, I'd say over half of the questions in there aren't "dumb" at all. Even if not over half, a large portion of the questions are actually reasonable questions, that people just don't want to create a thread on, or don't want to risk getting flamed for. Some highly detailed and technical questions have been asked there.

My personal policy as it relates to the site is that only the person asking the question can label it as a "dumb" question. I also don't see anyone sneering at that thread at all. Again, if anything, it's threads created that get far more contempt (justified or unjustified) than questions asked within threads, especially ones where flaming is off limits.

Just trying to help. Feel free to disregard.

the only header that may gain power is a header that keeps the the runners separated past half of the mid-pipe. no one sales it, its rare, BHR was working on a prototype. there are pictures of it somewhere, some guy who was closely related to bhr had run the protorype in autox

nothing new that I know of, so perhaps it didn't make a difference.
it may only change the dyno curve

here is a picture of R-magics obnoxious design

That isn't BHR's to the best of my knowledge. I think that crazy header is a "JDM" company's attempt.

BHR makes stuff far more elegant than that.

Oh ok .. buts that's still no excuse, and in a way it's worse.

<sigh> @ OP

It took me less time to find this thread than it did it write this post.

Try searching like this in Google without the quotes "site:rx8club.com exhaust performance"

I have posted some basic comments on the BHR FaceBook page, as well.
That's one reason I'm pleased to see your efforts. I fully expect that your header will reverse my statement...and I applaud that.
