Muffler replacement=cutting+welding, exhaust replacement=unbolting+rebolting.

Not worth the trouble to JUST replace a muffler..

Just buy a cat back system and it will solve your whole question. It replaces your muffler and will give you bigger tips (better looks) and a nice pipe to go up to your cat.

Most mufflers are universal if you're planning to cut+weld.

No offense,

When you're new here, don't call people out. We have a wealth of knowledge on this forum (not saying I do, but there is alot of information to be had across all of us).

Just ride the rainbow and be happy with any tidbit of answers you get out of us. If you don't, alot of people will flame your *** and you'll probably end up giving up on the forum if you can't handle it.

It's happened to a lot of people.

Short answer: get a catback exhaust.
