Of course I did, that doesn't mean people should choose and exhaust based on cell phone videos. I have met a many dissatisfied RX-8 exhaust system owners over the years, so if sound is important then a potential buyer should try and hear it in person.

well i dont know anyone with this exhaust so am i supposed to buy it based off nothing? of course i will use youtube. and 9k thats fine, i just think AP might be alittle too burbly and loud. i think il fine with r2 plus bhr. and cant imagine i would be upset with it.

Negative sir, fixing and modifying are two different things . Actually, nothing has broke in a long time (knock on wood). She has been down this week though while some things get powder coated and the custom tray, SOHN reservoir, and coolant reservoir go in. The next down time will be when the BBK calipers get recoated and the S2 trans and new clutch go in. Lot's of goodies waiting in the wings, it never ends.

Alright, instead of starting a new thread ill ask it on this one, thinking about
exoticspeed r2 titan with racing beat headers and dual rez midpipe
vs
full exoticspeed (r2catback/Highflowcat/headers)
Thoughts?

i feel like i would rather RB combo thou. they make really good products and i prefer the more mellow tone of the RB combo compared to bhr's more burbly sound.

Yup, I have full exoticspeed, midpipe and headers and will be swapping them out for the BHR long tube once it hits the market.

The exoticspeed parts are great, with amazing quality and fitment. The BHR stuff is just much better but is also for race inspired cars only.

I've got the AP mid pipe exhaust combo and I love it. It's loud for sure but not ear bleeding loud. Sounds great from the outside when I let my buddies rip around in the car.

Better is interpretable, do you want a header that looks flashy as long as you don't put any miles on it? Or do you want a header that will give you real performance gains?

At the time I went with Exoticspeed because it IMO was the best and is still the best for shot tube headers, but you cannot compare long tube as its not even in the same league

No one here will ever argue BHR quality of the strides Charles and his team have made for the rotory community, IMO its not a comparison, it shouldn't even be a question.
