FEELER: grounding kit.

Let me preface by saying I am not selling anything. Just gauging interest. I'm not posting a link as of yet cause like I said, not selling anything.

I was looking at grounding kits for the 8 and well there are some options they are either ebay brand or way pricey. From what I'm told the company was started by a mazdaspeed3 enthusiast and he is looking for RX8 owners to use his kit. They are very high quality materials, gold terminals, 8 ga. wires with very durable insulation, one of the better looking kits I've seen. And from what the site says, owner of 3's, speed3's and WRX's report a much healthier throttle response and some get 1-2 mpgs. He says he is willing to do a group buy but would need a few people to do so.

Anyone interested at all? Let me know and I will contact them.

I would be interested. Im not sure how much of a difference it would make, but if it helps mpg im happy. I do have one question-will this kit be specifically for the rx8 or is it cut to fit?

I just got an email from the company, I asked him about the 8 ga. Pretty much every grounding kit is 8. Even hks uses 8 and their kit is 4x as expensive. I would be the test mule really he has no fitment for our car and wants me to send him the measurements. So I guess we can have it custom made in a sort. They come in multiple colors solid black, black w/ white lines, green, red, orange, white, Dark blue, light blue, and stainless braided. I have no pics yet I will be getting mine withing the week and can have some up asap. The retail is 40 plus shipping, the group buy would be a bit less, but I haven't talked numbers with him.

I'm not the one making the kits, I'm trying to host a GB for them I'm sure I could ask him for the radiator fan ground. I did however speak to the owner about 4 ga. wires he said it wouldnt be a problem. The group buy price is 35 shipped and we need at least 8 to make it successful. And about $5 more for international shipping. If you want the 4 ga it will be 40+10 shipping. He assures me the 8 ga is not cheap crap by any means.

No thanks. I've already got a 4ga grounding kit. I forget where i found it, but it was on this site....somewhere....

4ga wire is expensive, as is the time it takes for someone to cut cables to length for you and crimp them. My kit was somewhere in the 60-80 dollar range, closer to 80 then 60 IIRC.
