Midpipe sounds real good....once u break it in,after 4,000 rpm the interior gets this buzzing sound like a whole bunch of bees are under ur car.It sounds weird inside...but on the outisde i heard one of my friends drive it,and it sounds real good. Like a baby ferrari or exotic car. If you ever heard a E46 M3,it sounds a lot like that,raspy but not to the point where its annoying.

The EPA is going to enforce more in urban areas in than rural areas. Here in Houston many many muffler shops are afraid to create put on mid-pipes.

I don't know how many have gotten caught, but remember that it is a federal offense so the punishment is more severe than local laws.

Recently there have been a lot of unmarked white vans parked on the shoulder of freeway entrance ramps. They have cameras and emmission detectors sniffing cars as they accelerate on to the freeway.

so instead of buying the name, making a mid pipe at a muffler shop is the same thing? what about the mount for the O2 sensor? or what if you dont put the O2 sensor on at all........whats the fine for no cat in CA?

In NJ i heard the fine is like 5-10k
