Fujita Engineering (FEED) intake

Hi guys,

Im new to this forum so HELLO! and compliments to making a good site,
I was wondering if there was anyone who had a feed intake and if so how they found it sound wise? I currently just have a K&N panel filter and Borla exhaust and I am undecided whether to go for the Feed kit or the Racing Beat revi and ram?

There seems to be loads of info on the racing beat but no real infon on the Feed from someone that has one fitted.

I wondered how much extra sound there is and assuming that there is no real power gain are we certain that there isnt a negative effect?

cheers for any advice guys

B

Hi there type 59,

Thanks a lot for the response mate, I checked You tube and the only one feed induction available and it has a dc sports exhaust (and I have a borla) and I cant really tell much difference tbh.

Heres a couple of pics of my rex and one of the Feed induction.

Has anyone actually got one fitted or know someone that has?

cheers

I know FEED is a good company, but I would have more respect is that wasnt a Carbon 'look' sticker wrapped around the cone.... try googling Hot Version Rotary Rocket. I have the DVD and it features FEEDs tuned RX8 which sounds really good, but Ive never googled it before.... Good luck

Hi There Rotr8,

Cheers for the comments mate, but I do believe that the cone is Carbon Fibre rather than alluminium (or whatever) with a carbon look sticker

From what ive managed to decipher from what little advice ive received from eleswhere is that the sound from the Feed is more throaty and more of a roar than the revi/duct but the revi/duct gives that couple more bhp

thanks

Hi! I have the FEED intake, and that's my vid you found online with the DC sports exhaust If you check out my Curborough vid, you can hear the car under full throttle.
The build quality of the intake is fantastic, quite a few are "universal" and so fit loosely but the FEED intake was spot on

on idle, there's a bit of a deeper burble however not intrusive, when in the 5-9k rev range it sounds like a whale having an orgasm lol

I'd recommend them :D

Finally! lol

nice one DY8 thanks for the comments mate much appreciated!

i think i may have to invest as the noise of whales having orgasms have always been a a favourite of mine!
i do think they look good and a few people have said that they sound quite deep and throaty at full throttle.

thanks again

just by looking at that picture of the FEED intake, I'd recommend you buy the Racing Beat intake + ram air duct

This Picture doesn't convince or negate CF either,,, but stickers deffinately look like the pic you posted, the weave is too stretched and doesnt have any depth. Also the geometry of the lip at the connection side looks to have extreme tight tolerances. CF fillets are hard to get any tighter than 3/8 or 1/4"... I'm not convinced that FEED would make two designs and sell them for the same price. Im jsut trying to look out for ya...I could be wrong though,,,If your only concern is the sound and the performance FEED is one of the best, but if CF is a priority reconsider
