Maybe it was his V-tec kicking. I have the SP2 also and I think I read someone mentioned about greddy making a race pipe and also someone actually fitting the B&B race pipe to fit with the SP2 with some fab.

Greddy SP2 will fit any midpipe/cat replacement for the 8. I have a CZ highflow cat/midpipe combo.....much louder than stock. The straight midpipe is very loud without the cat and the resonator.......way too loud for me

D.i.y......

If you don't need/want your catalyst, you can take it out for free.

(I am not advocating, just supplying information - I understand all the legal and ethical ramifications of catalyst removal.)

1-Remove catalyst/resonator section.
2-Insert iron bar.
3-Bash the delicate ceramic honeycomb to bits.
4-Shake the loose crap out.
5-Reinstall hollow pipe.
6-Put Casper Electronics' O2 simulator across the two 'sensor output' wires from the secondary O2 sensor.

(Try not to breathe in any of the dust, the heavy metals won't do you any good.)

Vivid sells the B&B midpipe. SR Motorsports sells a midpipe. RX8 Store sells a midpipe too. The midpipe replaces the hi-flow cat & resonator. It will make your car unbelievably loud and probably give you about 5 hp in the process. Question is do you want to be smog legal and how loud can you bear it ?

Some of the mid pipes are hi flow cat/midpipes or even hi flow cat/resonator midpipes, SR Motorsports sell both the hi flow cat and hi flow cat cat/resonator midpipe.

Thumbs up Full exhaust

Whats up guys i just had my full exhaust installed 2 weeks ago and it sounds and looks amazing. i to love the sound of a rotary so i didnt mind the loudness or worry about the emissions BS. anway i have the greddy SP2 catback W/ rotary performance mid pipe, trust me you will be more then happy with the sound. I got the cat-back from nopi.com for $585.00 to the door. and the mid-pipe from RX7.com for $320 (with a hook up). as far as sound clips you can hear that full system on RX7.com web site. Good luck.
