damn... you're buying only for the sound?
How long did the guy have it? what's the fitment like? what's the quality of the metal? What kind of gains did he see?
These are things that you should look for. Not just sound...

ebay garbage, AWESOME!

a lot of those exhausts use cheap metal which means it won't hold up to our little fire breather for a car. jussayin'....

Meh, I have seen expensive exhausts fall apart (Mazdaspeed). And the Turbo XS looks great and performs great at $500.00 for the cat-back and mid-pipe. For the most part price does get you quality but not in every situation. The last time I checked the guy that bought the $300.00 OBX cat-back just to test it was still running it and happy with it. I believe he had a much more expensive exhaust prior to the OBX.

Its going to also depend on where you live obviously. Up north with salt a lesser quality exhaust is going to go to **** alot faster compared to someone with it in the south. Correct me if im wrong but i think the guy with the OBX was in Florida?

good
fast
cheap

instead of buying a cheap ebay exhaust, why not ask one of the vendor in here for a discount?? you get what you pay for.

Don't take this the wrong way but what is this you get what you pay for? If your car is NA, then what difference does it make how much money you spend? I don't get the whole "performance" thing. In terms of hp performance, if my car isn't noticeably faster than stock than there is no performance gain. It's just show and sound and I'm perfectly fine with spending the least amount of money to achieve that as long as it doesn't mess the car up. A turbo is a different story but spending a crap load of money on so called "quality" parts that advertise a "performance increase" is a....
You know what, I give up.
Just buy whatever.

The guy that tested the OBX actually bought another one I believe for another 8 so....can't be too bad. Guy says the one in the video is a Toyo Sport.
