Good Starting Performance Mod?

Good Starting Performance Mod?
Now that I have my 8 looking good, I want to make it run good. I already have Intake and Exhaust, so I am looking into doing some other things to it once I get some extra money saved up.
Any good suggestions to start out with? I've been thinking about Underdrive Pulley (I just sold mine, but I miss it ), but can anyone else recommend something else to do so I can do some research?

Lol then go catless Midpipe or hi flow cat.....
Get a rb duct so you have colder air go into the intake instead of the engine bay hot air.
If anyone else wants to chime in feel free. I can't think rightnow. Lol

As others have cited there really aren't many cost-performance effective mod's for an NA '8.
Intakes and exhausts are more 'ear of the beholder' items than appreciable performance mod's.
Therefore, imho the CobbAP with a custom MazdaManiac tune would be your best first mod.
The BHR ignition system is also excellent, but I deem that more in the category 'best supporting actor' in that in provides optimal and reliable spark. The CobbAP with the BHR ignition therefore is about the best you can do as far as NA performance.
edit: In fairness, an RP Supercat will net a nice increase, as will of course going catless midpipe [latter track only].
edit(2): In complete fairness the K&N Typhoon intake does render some significant performance gains, but at the expense of being Very LOUD.

^Well said.
I know some of the posts here were sarcastic (I hope...Krango), but for someone who truly doesn't know about modding a NA 8, they may be confusing since it's so damn hard to pick up sarcasm on these forums!
Anyways, I opened a thread a while back to try to consolidate what is believed to be the best NA mods. Needless to say, that turned into a massive heated arguement.
Look, there are a ton of things you can do to increase the handling of the car, such as new suspension and things of that sort. In the end, that's what this car was built for. Improving those will only make the ride more enjoyable. The simple truth, however, is that not all of us live in the canyons or on the track where those mods will be tested and prove to make a difference.
If it's power you're looking for, you're already on your way with the intake and exhaust, but those power gains are minimal. As Huey52 suggested, the mods he recommended will net you the best NA power gains. The rest will make your ride great and will help in corners, but straight power gains on the NA are difficult..take it from me. With all of the concerns with engine reliability anyways, forced induction isn't for me right now. So, to reiterate some solid power suggestions:
1. High-flow cat or test pipe
2. BHR ignition system (for support). At least replace the OEM setup on a regular basis to assure good ignition if BHR isn't in your immediate price range
3. Cobb with MazdaManiac tune
Although I can't afford the Cobb right now (rebuilding my tranny, among other things), my hours upon hours of research has lead me to this conclusion.
