Got my Sohn reservoir today!

I've been looking to do the Sohn adapter for a little while now. I've been looking for a tall skinny reservoir. I ended up finding a oil tank out of a snowmobile on ebay for $20 shipped. It came with a magnetic level sensor and a separate vent tube. I will admit that it looked smaller in the picture but yesterday I took out the winshield washer fluid container and the oil tank fits almost perfectly! I haven't measured its capacity yet but I bet it will hold 2 quarts, hahahaha! It's got the fitting that comes out at an angle. I'm going to see if there is one that has a 45 degree bend in it. I will now look for a smaller windshield washer fluid container but I think it's all going to be okay!

Here's some pictures...

Cool now get fancy and wire it into your oil sensor so it will show low oil if it gets low.

or If you have a bad coolant sensor and you run with it unplugged wire it in there and you know when you see a coolant light you need to refill your sohn tank.

My first tank was something along those lines. You might be able to attach it next to the brake master cylinder, there is a bit of space there (and save your washer bottle).

I had 1/4" rubber fuel line and just went to 6mm silicone push connect.

I cleaned up the bottle a little bit. Here is how I've got it situated. I think this is the best position for it...

The bottle had a 1/2" NPT threaded fitting. I am going to cap that and drill a new hole off the side. I guess at that point I could run whatever

im planning my omp adapter (chrstmas present to myself!), and i wanted wire up a level sensor to a light on my dash. this is where my question comes in. are there any unused lights on the '06 (or any year for that matter) US dash that may be there for use in other countries? otherwise i planned on the tying into the oil light (mostly because if im going to use a light for a dual purpose, might as well be the oil light). does anyone have a schematic for the dash lights?
