Greddy exhaust vs Mazdaspeed

I was talking to mazda and I really wanted to know if any other after market exhaust that is catback is going to void my warranty.... Is there any possible way it could if I went with greddy???? I have heard greddy and mazdaspeed and both are pretty good I just like how greddy is all polished all the way... please help me with some advice and if you like greddy or mazdaspeed where can I find them at the cheapest website???? thank you very much for your help if you can..

I really like my greddy exhaust, it's nice and loud during acceleration, but quiet at a constant speed.

exhaust cannot void your warrany, and if the dealer tells you that, they're lying

it might void your exhaust warrinty on the car.. but.. if you go with borla ( )
you get a million mile warrinty with it... so.. you pretty much still have warrinty..

why did you out mazdaspeed Flywheel on the poll of exhausts?

I just ordered the ms flywheel really excited too.. I figured I would rather pay $480 and feel the difference and know there is a difference then just paying $600 for the sound of the car. I will hold out on the exhaust for a lil while longer.... question... do I have to have a mazda dealership install my flywheel or can I have a person I know really well that knows cars and owns a transmission shop work on it??? would mazda know that they did not install the flywheel and not keep my warranty?

you might want to change out clutch too while you're at it

mazda keeps a record of all maintenance and work on your vehicle. So they would know.

And the warranty that comes on the MS flywheel is not good unless it is installed by a certified Mazdaspeed dealer. So, they charge you an outrageous amount to install it.

Congrats on the flywheel choice, I think you will like it. The flywheel is an expensive install for sure, the most expensive part of the work I had done recently (MS flywheel, MS intake, MS dual exhaust).

The issue for me with installation:

A. I know very little about car mechanics (not the people, the actual cars).

B. The forum sponsor where I was buying the parts (Rosenthal Mazda) was about 10 miles from my house.

C. This is probably the "most important" one, I won't ever have to argue about warranty issues due to this work. I plan to have my vehicle serviced at rosenthal for the duration of the warranty.

And this brings us to an important distinction:

Paying more for MS parts and dealer installation warranty concerns really have more to do with jerks than potential failure of components like the MS flywheel. I dont expect problems with the flywheel, but I would expect that if I need a new clutch in the future (or other tranny components, etc.) that some dealers may try to claim the warranty void. And while I love a good legal argument, I seldom have time or patience for that kind of BS.

did a search, but only found stuff on the version 1 MS exhaust........is the new MS SPORT EXhaust loud? full knowing that our cars aren't MOD friendly, does it add any gains? I know the MS exhaust Version 1 gave none and it wasnt even that loud....

yes.. its louder.. its "waht our Rx8 Should sound like.."
and our rx8 is mod friendly.. you just need the proper mods to compliment each other.. you get the exhaust, Intake wont do much.. add the flywheel.. and your looking at better accleration, stronger pull.. and longer pulls..
