Hello All,

I'm looking for some opinions on the Greddy SE catback system. I've looked around, replied to a couple threads, but haven't really gotten much...

From what I've seen, the tips are probably the nicest i've seen, and I doubt it'd provide any noticeable power gains, so what I'm really curious about is sound.

How much louder is it over stock, is there much change in tone(across the revs)? I've found a handful of video's on youtube.... but between the mic., video compression, and speakers, it's pretty much impossible to tell.

Anyone out there who has one, what do you think of it?

 

Perfect sounding exhaust, the only thing I did not like about it was that it was so heavy and that the piping is actually smaller then stock.

The piping is smaller than stock? Are you sure? I thought it was 3".... and I don't know the actual specs but just from installing it, it seemed way lighter than the stock giant single muffler...


Sounds great, tips look super sexy and has a nice bassy non-rice tone to it. That was when I was just the catback.

Now I have BHR midpipe and GReddy SE but the turbo at the front of my exhaust stream makes the car just a bit louder than stock until I am at high rpms or WOT.

I had a ton of compliments on the GReddy sound when I was NA and even had random Rx8 owners around my city ask to hear it at high WOT rpms.
