Greddy SP2 Gasket Question

I have the Greddy SP2 exaust on my 8. I believe there is supposed to be a gasket where the rear mid-pipe connects to the mufflers, I tested it without and there was a pretty solid leak all the way around the connection. I bought it used, so it didn't come with one. Since buying the exhaust I've gone through 2 gaskets. The latest one only lasted about a month. Is there a specific gasket that the exhaust uses? The two I went through were just off the shelf ones from Advance + Napa, the second one was made of a metallic material so I thought it would hold up.

Hmm, my system is Racing beat and it does use a gasket there, but not the style I expected.

Did you buy a gasket like this?

Because, at least on the racing beat, that connection uses a sort of donut gasket like this:

On one of the flanges there would be a little groove that it fits into. Kind of like this (I know this is a header, but notice the little step on the inside of the flange. The ring fits in there):

That one is pretty standard, you just need a quality one like the one from Greddy or did that one fail?

Not from Greddy, I bought the first one from Advance and the second from Napa. I'll check out Greddy's site and see if they might sell them. I thought they would be standard, but maybe those two stores just sell cheap gaskets?

I looked at the flanges, they don't have the groves for the ring gaskets, or a space for the doughnut type.

Yeah they can be specific. I know my Turboxs one is, I had to get one from TurboXS.

So Greddy doesn't list the part as being in-stock on their site however I was able to pick one up off of eBay. The part is 11000301 for reference. I haven't put it on yet, but what I can tell you is that it's atleast 2x as thick and firm as either the ones I bought off the shelf from the local boys. I'm pretty confident this will last longer than the others. Thanks again for suggesting it 9k.
