Greddy SP2 question

Anybody with Greddy sp2, I just got mine a couple weeks ago. Started out looking nice and silver but today I noticed it looks like it's changing to sort of a bronze tint. Is this normal? Would chrome cleaner change it back?

nothing you can do about preventing it. Just have to constantly polish not to let it build up. some people have grown used to the look though and like it.

Thanks V!

Nobody else need reply here because I know, I know ... there's tons of posts on this, I was just too lazy to search. Ok, no more.

The tips on the SP2 are singlewall while the ones on the OEM are DBL. The tips on my SP2 are also bronze do to the heat you will not be able to keep them looking as new unless you use metal polish every other day.

Expo,

Thanks for the tips. I didn't know how quickly they'd start to turn. I think I've read enough now to do something about it when it gets bad. Good to know I'm in greddy company, though.

One more thing ... I just remembered there was a box of cleaning stuff in the trunk that came with the performance package. I opened it up and it's about 5 or 6 small bottles of carwash, polish, window cleaner, leather stuff, etc.

metal polish would work, but it may take lots of rubbing

the sp2's exhausts are so large though that its difficult to polish. By hand for me took way to long so I took out the exhaust shroud and used a dremel-type tool with a polishing end and it looked great.
