Greddy Turbo Oil Burning

I have a problem, wondering if its just the restrictor not being installed or if i have other problems that i should tell our mechanic before he starts working on my car.

When i start my car in the morning i lets out a little puff of blue/black smoke. *this is no big deal i can live with this.*

The problem i have is if i drive the car hard or easy either way when i come to a stop once the car is fully warmed up, clouds of blue smoke come out the tailpipes, my oil consumption has increased a little bit, but its really not that big of an increase to make me worry. The problem is when i stop people check out the car and are like *damn* then the car starts smoking and they laugh.

It only does it at idle and if i push the rpms up to like 2k while im stopped the smoke slowly goes away *building up oil pressure*?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Rebuild your turbo and make sure you put a restrictor the next time.

so you think the turbos cooked? i dont understand that, because if it was cooked wouldnt it be burning oil at all rpms.

the oil consumption hasnt increased any since the day i put the kit on.

I think that the oil restrictor thread should be stickied, so people will see it.

The turbo doesn't smoke at all RPM's because when under load, the pressure prevents oil from getting out. As soon as you let go of the gas the oil begins to find it's way through the seals and into your compressor and the turbo.
