Ground wires will help a car. My RX7 misfired untill I installed my own custom made wires. Now granted My RX7 was made in 93 and with age the factory wires degrade, the RX8 should have decent grounding. They will not hurt for sure and I would bet they will help.

Help your car? In about 5+ years perhaps. If your 1 year old RX8 is having problems with its ground cables, unless you screwed with your CPU, its going to be covered in your warrenty.

Thumbs up

My install of Lineage 5-Point Grounding Wires. It does help.

Adding ground wires direct from the battery helps to bypass the ground points which are affected by corroded chassis parts.
Exactly, couldn't have said it better. Wait till your car gets 5-10 years older and you will start to have strange problems that often can be fixed by beefing up the ground system.

It's normal for your volts to show variance in that range because your alternator is charging your battery while your engine is running. Ground wires will not affect this, nor is it even a problem at all. If you get spikes up to 16V then perhaps you have other issues.

Can you post the install instructions and pictures that are rx8 specific? I don't plan on buying the kit as I made my own for my 2nd gen rx7, but I'm just curious to see what points they used.
