Help upgrades

ok, so i am about to order the agency power pulley and the aem cai. is this a great decision? i know its been said that the intake is just for sound but this has to offer some performance combined w/ the pulley. i have seen vids of the cai and it appeals to me.

p.s. is this the loudest intake for the 8?
and where is the best the best place to order these parts ...rx-7store?best prices?
thanx for the help guys

Price wise.. Yea, I think it's a good decision. But even both combined, you probably won't feel or see any type of power gain. Search around, you aren't the first person to ask these questions.

thanx man, i mean if i could spend this money and get more power id consider something else but i think since the prices of the pulley are rather cheap and the cai isnt too bad, i guess i should stick it out opposed to getting the rb reflash as the as my next upgrade...thanx for the imput

You know.. what alot of people don't think about when modding the car is suspension. You could easily spend in the thousands just getting intake, exhaust, headers, a cat, pulleys... etc.. and not get your moneys worth (in my opinion). But if you really want to change the way the car drives, change some of the suspension. Springs and sway bars...

while changing the suspension definately does change the way the car drives in my opinion wider front and esp rear tires + race tire compound is the most significant change in driving performance for the buck, once i put 275/35 zr's in the back the car stuck like glue

Not everyone can afford to run R-Compound tires year around to help the car stick.. I definetly agree that the suspension is where you need to start & some driving classes out at the local track..

As for Intake & Pulley, there are many many threads to read up on & will help you decide for yourself its the route you want to go.
