highflow cat? what is the best?

Hi Guys!

I have a question, what is the best highflow cat system?

o) Bönez
o) R-Magic

or other one!

The problem ist i know that the Racingbeat pipe make the best performance, but in Austria (europe) we dont put this thing on the car!

Can you give me some infos which is the best on, and where i can buy it.

And i don´t will welding same universal cat from magnaflow or something on the original cat, because i will complet one like the R-Magic or something.

I the german community board, the most guys have the Bönez, but i will ask here in the usa because more people have other highflow cat´s on there cars and can give me better infos.

And i have the Greddy SP2 as exhaust system on my car.

Thanks a lot for your help.

(Sorry the bad endlish!! )

Thanks guys for your answers!

I have a technical question about this Rotary Performance cat system.
Anyone know if that have 100 cells?
And i fear that when i put it on that my car ist loud like a Dragracer

Or you think when i have the Greddy you hear nothing about the highflow cat system?
Because in Austria the emission from the exhaust must pass, and the DB loudness also.

But the price from this system ist very great, when i look to the R-Magic that costs 800 Dollar and more.

Also thanks for your answers!

the RP supercat should give you a nice deep tone. since it is still a cat, it should pass emissions, and it shouldnt be as loud as a midpipe.

No, a bad cat does not throw a cell on the RX8.

did for me.

P0420 Catalyst system efficiency below threshold. as far as I can tell, that would translate to the cat not doing it's job as well as it is supposed to and that's the problem I have. Other symptoms seem to be low gas mileage (I had about 10 mpg) and/or loss of power (which I did not have). If I'm correct, it's only a clogged cat that will have loss of power but I'm unsure about that.

the best cats in the world are produced in Germany, don't get a POS cat from the US market

A bad cat will ether open up (get loud) or plug up (restrict performance). I've had 4 Mazda cats go bad. They all throw a CEL.

200 cell at best..

you might look to see what the german touring cars use... that would be a 100 cell count... and close to home...
