hks hi-power vs stock with race pipe

hey all, i'd like to ask your opinion of the two choices above. at the moment i have installed the hks hi-power single exit exhaust with oem cat. i've been taking more long trips lately and the sound is too loud for that purpose. around town, i love the tone, but the necessity to turn to volume up on longer rides is tiring.

so i was thinking of ways to lower the volume.

1) keep the hks hi-power and it's great tone, but add the apexi active tail silencer to bring it down a bit, or,

2) reinstall stock exhaust with UN resonated test pipe, or,

3) reinstall stock exhaust, retain oem cat.

between 1 and 2, which do you think will be quieter with less drone? if that is not possible, i will just go with option 3.

thanks, i plan on doing this tonight or tomorrow and your opinion might save me 1 less 'test' install

dibs on hks if you decide to sell

Personally I would put silencer seem easier to remove if you need too. Right?

Just keep it and put a silencer.
