HKS intake video
Just did the install yesterday, took about hour 1/2. I love the sound, most people say it's high pitch, I think it made my car sound deeper. I also have a magnaflow exhaust and it would drown out my rotary notes, but now I can hear it again. I'll make another vid later with a drive by at 9k rpms. First rev was done at 3k rpms second is at 9k rpms.

Man, thats so awesome... I love how people spend time filming how their intake sounds instead of how it performs.
I wonder if back in the day people were sitting around an Olds 442 and said "Man, that new carb and intake SOUNDS so much better!"

The reason I bought the HKS intake was one of the forum members came over to my shop and he just had it installed. He had no exahust, just the intake and the sound was really sick, I had to buy it. I got this baby on ebay for 265.00.

congrats on the intake. I'm glad you like it. Yes they are a lil on the loud side once passed 5k. The average hp gain is typically 2-3 hp, ofcourse it's nothing you can feel. It does pull a little harder top end though. I've had mine since they came out and have yet to see one problem with it.

and thats the HKS suction? rotory god? is that you? can we get a say on if this "suction" is actually going to suck.. in a good way? (inuendo?) or is it like all the rest (all the rest used loosly)
nevermind. i found a thread that said the hks suction sucked bad. and was not worth 650...but you didnt get that intake anyway.
