I need to get it re-done have them tuck it in a little bit more and the guy over cut the black piece looks like i will just have to order a replacement piece -

umm that doesnt look like the hks hi-power exhasut to me it should exit the other shroud and well it doesnt look anything like that

yeah, that's not the hks hi-power. the muffler is far smaller, the tip is different, and the pipe layout is different too. And not in a good way.

i currently have the borla catless, but i am wondering how much louder would it be for the catless hks single compared to the catless borla since you had that combination? i just want an idea because i cant really tell how much louder it is in the video clips.

But I had a turbo on it.. so figure it's about 50% of the muffling a cat would do. It was way too loud for me.

as far as build quality and design, this is the #1 exhaust I've seen for the rx-8.

I never had the hks catless and na. So I can't compare. Given how much louder the hks was over the borla with the same configuration, I would guess 30-40% increase in unwanted sound. But that's hard to imagine cause the borla catless and na was loud.
