With $1200 you can buy the Zex nitrous kit and all the good accessories that go with it. I would do that first and then get a mid pipe, cat-back, etc...

Specifically, some good accessories you might want:

- remote bottle opener (very very handy!)
- pressure gauge
- bottle heater (debatable - maybe useful in colder climates)
- purge valve (not very useful unless you drag professionally... but very cool to set off at a stop light )

Jones mentioned the other day, and I have heard this too, that most shops charge $500-$600 for installation. For $600 I will fly to your place in the morning, do my usual artistic installation, and fly home that night.

Yeah I did a lot of reasearch on nitrous way back when but I'm not a big fan of the on/off power. I'll just save up for a turbo. But I figure my effort shouldn't go to waste so I try to butt in to nitrous conversations whenever I seem 'em

nitrous is fun, +5000 and you can get the rpm thing that will engage the nitrous only at certain rpms that thing pwns, and CRH's thread pwns

It's called a window switch BTW... And the RPM you want to switch it on at is different in every gear (it depends on load, not RPM). It's simpler to just pay attention to your driving, only engage the nitrous when you plan to use it, and then not go WOT unless you mean it

put the money towards paying it off and enjoy the car as stock. then after its paid off, take a loan out for a rebuild and/or a used greddy kit without turbo, you can get much more efficient and better turbo and a custom manifold if you search hard enough.

way pay off the car just to put a loan out on it to upgrade some parts? Maybe just save up?
