They were trying to send a Nuclear explosion thru a gate near a black hole - going to disable the Ori SuperGate that way. Anywho, A Wraith ship approached, so they sling-shot around the Black Hole (which is stupid, because if LIGHT can't escape, how can their ship, ya know?), and the Wraith followed. Just as they were near the active gate (they had placed), they beamed a Nuke onto the wraith ship - the force went thru the worm hole on the just-in-time activated gate.
Meanwhile, Teal'c was cloaked at the SuperGate when an Ori Ship appeared. It was overing over the Supergate when the Super gate's Event Horizon destroyed it.
So, the disabled the Supergate (By tying it to an active gate near a Black Hole), AND killed a Wraith mothership, AND an Ori ship.

Hey Charles--thats my point--why the heck make all that power if you are not going to put it on the ground?
As always though --good info. Been reading your other threads--good work dude.
"Thread highjack"---the Ga club can be visualized on the espn speed channel Rolax series. We were at Barber 7/29, we had big turnout --look for us Charles I think it will be on 8/5
group sends regards and good luck

What kind fo retard buys a car and then bitches about the power. If you do your research on turbo kits like you did your research on buying a car then you are in trouble. Throw 18 psi at it regularly and see what happens.

It could probably handle 18psi on race gas. Basically stock Rx7 motors take that kind of abuse pretty well. As long as you can control detonation you should be okay. Its probably not a good idea to drive around all day long at that level, but for Friday night racing it would probably be fine. But, I'm just speculating based on what I see my friends with 7's do. There are differences in the engines of course, but hopefully no deal breakers, and some may even be to our advantage. You would of course need all the supporting mods though, fuel, cooling, proper engine management...
Do it and hope for the best! If it works out, I'll fly out to help you get the coat hanger out of your mouth!

I too wanted the 350Z but needed the extra two seats. The EVO. nah, my cousin is on his second EVO and it just does'nt excite me. I wanted an STI but the style of the RX-8 won me over. I had a 12 second 93 EX coupe. Built B16A, crower rods, crower valvetrain, turbonetics T3, etc., etc. I still have an 88 CRX HF with a all motor B16A drag car that runs mid 13's. I wanted to stay Honda but the only capable car is two seater roadster which is just not practical.

I looked at the SI too but i think it's ugly and I was tired of front wheel drive. Even with LSD a front wheel drive is just not as fun. I don't regret my decision one bit. aside from the tail light moisture and visors breaking, it's been a great car even with the track abuse.

I agree with you. In March of 2005 I drove from MI to Atlanta to meet up with a bunch of forum members and they were surprised to see just how much abuse I put on my car and it still drove like new. Then, I took a few of them out for some nitrous-assisted, 7,000 rpm launches and they were further surprised to see the car handle it all just fine. I guess my weekend down there inspired several of them to not only drive the Hell out of their 8's but to also rethink the idea of modding for power gains. BTW, my driver's side visor broke recently too and I'll be getting it in next month for a new one. How weird.
