i need some ideas...

k i am getting a turbo kit at the end of the summer, and i've got 500 bucks right now that i want to spend on an upgrade, but i dont know what i should get.. what would give me the best increase in performance and power and make my 0 - 60 time faster... any ideas would be appreciated.
thanks.

p.s. i already have the borla cat-back exhaust so i dont need a cat back

$500..not much, maybe Racing Beat intake (REVi) with Ram Air Duct (though you are going to have to remove it before you add the turbo later on), or RP Supercat (which will help right now, but also when you put the turbo on), maybe lightened flywheel (but if you are doing turbo I would wait & put the flywheel on at the same time you put a new clutch in).

Catless midpipe. Resonated one optional.

Just realize with a straight pipe & the Borla it will be hella loud ! Get the Rp Supercat, about the same hp (& won't poluute the environment), or if you want even less noise something like the SR Motorsports hi-flow cat with the resonator option. Had both, depending on what you like (loudness) will determine what you want. Also straight pipe has a big chance of throwing your CEL light, whereas the hi-flow cat won't.

A suspension upgrade to help you handle the power, or do you still have the OEM clutch?

clutch, midpipe, exhaust, and suspension work
any 1 of the above.

I hope you realize what you're getting into with this turbo. The inital 3k for the kit is just the beginning. After that, the party never stops.

awesome, great ideas..also i just heard today that my friend's girlfriend's car got hail damage and the insurance company wrote her a check for 3k bucks, so i got hail damage too, but its not even really noticeable unless you look at it at the right angle, so i will be happy to get about 1200 or more, that would really help.. that way i can get my turbo before the end of the summer which is what its looking like now...

I dunno, you might want to have some money left for minor things like installation and tuning. And modification--make sure your installer reads about Maddog's fixes. Not to mention the several things which you need but aren't included in the kit...BOV, boost controller, other stuff too I think....
