Depends on the size of the bottle and where you mount it, but probably not.

Yes, you could take it out, and if someone hits it, it won't explode. Nitrous is not flammable; the oxygen in it is. On its own, it's stable and nonvolatile. Plus, the bottles have safety release valves. As long as you don't tamper with that valve, the gas will escape safely long before it builds up enough pressure to explode. "The Fast & The Furious" movies are NOT an accurate depiction of how nitrous works. It won't make your vision blurry and it won't make your car a smoking crater of shrapnel and melted rubber with the slightest collision.

I think you have watched the fast and the furious a few too many times. Nitrous is not explosive, not that i know of. As for your question about the bottle being removable or hidden. Yes you can remove the bottle very easily and if you look on ebay there is a kit that actually comes with a duffel bag that is supposed to hide the bottle. Keep in mind nitrous is not legal to use on the street so dont let a cop catch you with the bottle connected. To address your original question, i would go with the shifter, intake, and midpipe/supercat. I personally have the TurboXS trackpipe and nitrous for the time and i love it.

is the bb midpipe the best midpipe available right now? or is it the best price per horsepower? and does anyone know the decibel reading for a rx8 with a midpipe and borla catback? or any catback at that, so i can get a general idea of how loud it will be.

Some Cheap mods that work :
fit the RB duct + K&N filter + remove screens .
Take out the cat & fit midpipe with resonator (if legal) . If not legal fit hi flow cat.
Fit a small battery - but only if you don't live in a really cold area
Premix

The flywheel will be most noticeable of the rest but also most expensive.

you need to remove the trans. check the pic in 'staticlag's signature in this thread.

and lightweight wheels + sticky tires are going to be one of the most noticable things you can do. Along with sway bars.

you do not GAIN any power with a flywheel..... you just send more USEABLE power to the ground.

get the intake and midpipe and thats it. the short shifter is useless and requires more effort to put into gear on a car that already has a short enough shifter.

flywheel shouldnt be changed unless youre going to replace the clutch assembly as you'll be paying double the amount of labor for the same amount of work.
