Mizu radiator?
Any particular reason you went with that one? I don't know much about them so I'm just wondering.

I dont know why mangnok got his...

but the main reason I wanted the Mizu radiator was it was the only radiator with 3 cooling rows as opposed to 1 like all the others i have seen.
The price isn't to bad ether.

From their website:
The Mizu performance aluminum radiator is the perfect upgrade to your stock radiator. Made from the highest grade of aluminum, all Mizu aluminum radiators are hand-welded and hand-made to create a perfect radiator with a direct OEM fitment without any cutting or modification needed. All Mizu radiators are designed and engineered to maximize cooling efficiency by increasing the radiator core's thickness, fin density and using 2 radiator cooling rows as opposed to 1. These advancements in cooling technology will protect your car from overheating under the harshest conditions. All Mizu radiators come with a high pressure 1.3 bar Mizu radiator cap and an unparallel lifetime warranty.
Given the flow problems that we have i'm not really sure how the increased fin count will work.
The price is ok though so seeing the results will be interesting.

mangnok: do you have any way of monitoring your coolant temperatures?
Gauges?
accessPORT?

would be nice to know before / after results.

Also, what water / coolant mixture % did you use?

why would you use Toyota coolant?
My recommendation: More water, less coolant.
I use 70% water, 30% coolant + 1 bottle of water wetter.

Installing a new radiator without having a gauge and without any kind of empirical before\after tests makes your opinions useless and i'm sorry to say that because a new, useful and cheap radiator may be good for some.
This reminds me of the hype that the koyo units brought with them when they came out, unfortunately those radiators were found to make matters worse cooling wise after some time.

water is the best coolant we can use.
The green radiator fluid works well as a lubricant and to ensure that things do not rust but in our weather, we do not need as much coolant because we won't see below zero temps.

Most people in hotter climates use more water then coolant.
