intake manifolds

most people who get underdriven pulleys get the AP crank pulley, i sprung for the unorthodox racing 3 piece set. the gains are going to be nominal at best. if you were going to stay NA and have a couple hundred dollars just sitting around, i'd say do it and squeeze the most you could out of the engine, or if you are building a show car and want something flashy under the hood, then go for it. but compared to the gains you are going to get from FI, pulleys are not going to make a difference. i'd put that couple hundred towards turbo accessories or suspension parts. good luck with your build

^^^ Agreed
I have a set of the SR Under drive pulleys and while I'm happy with the appeal ..... zero on the performance ... .... I might add....
That (imo) it reduced my idle quality while using the AC

I ran AP pulleys on my turbo'd car...with a lot of extra electrical loads...the alternator had a difficult time keeping up at idle
I went back to stock crank pulleys and the alternator output is better for my needs

Agree with Dan - I went straight back to stock pulley when I fitted the turbo .
The only documented change to the upper intake manifold was done by Esmeril racing when they were pushing 500whp .
Other than that it is common practice to use the AEM intake (pre turbo ) in Greddy builds .
